This picturesque view can be seen in Døvik in the Årdalsfjord, not far from Stavanger. On the ground floor there is a huge room for gutting and cleaning fish. The room is shared with the other flat. The landlord has 4 boats for rent and there are plenty of theat fishing spots in the fjord.

In Årdal one can fish salmon in the river. Its a short trip by boat, or you can drive there in one hour.

Enjoy the silence at the end of the road.

Nice secluded outdoor areas. Veranda upstairs and another wooden terrace downstairs. Privately owned quay at your disposal when renting boats. The river estuary behind the house provides a great place for swimming, for children and adults alike.

You can go hiking in the mountains and forests nearby and if you wish to go someplace else there is only a 20 min drive to Tau, from where the ferry leaves to Stavanger. It lands in the city centre, so there is no need to bring the car across.

A 45min drive will take you to the parking lot from where the walk to Pulpit rock starts. 20 minutes from there is Landa in Forsand, with the bronze age village.

The landlord has 4 boats for rent. The rental of boats is no concern of Vikinghomes, contact the landlord on arrival.

One 23 foot partly covered boat with inboard Volvo diesel engine. It makes 10-12 knots and is suitable for 4-5 fishermen.

One 15 foot Pioner with 15 hp Suzuki outboard motor

One 14 foot Pioner with 9,9 hp Johnson outboard motor

One 14 foot Ryds with 15 hp Suzuki outboard motor

80 sqm gutting and cleaning room on the ground floor, shared between the two flats.

Great swimming and bathing area in the river behind the house.

Hiking area just outside the doorstep.

Excellent starting point for trips to Pulpit rock, the Ryfylke area, Forsand and Stavanger.

Note that trip to Flor og Fjære must be booked in advance, even if you arrive by your own boat.
