The main thing here is fishing, but there are great hiking opportunities as well. Being near the ocean you will not have to climb very high to get a breathtaking view.
The nearest village is Askvoll, across the fjord.
If you wish to get even closer to the Atlantic, take the ferry to Værlandet and walk to Bulandet.
